Trainings & Retreats

Seiyu Institute for Health & Training, L3C is an EMDRIA Approved Credit Provider (#21025) and Approved CE provider for mental health professionals through the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

We are also an approved provider through the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) Advancement Grant Program. Eligible Vermont residents may have eligible trainings fully funded through this program.

Tony Parmenter, MA, LCMHC, EMDRIA Approved Consultant

Tony is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, licensed clinical mental health counselor, and creator of Therapeutic Fly-Fishing with EMDR (TF-EMDR)®. With decades of experience in trauma healing, nature-based work, and professional training, Tony blends clinical precision with an immersive outdoor teaching style that fosters both skill development and personal transformation.

Tony also provides clinical supervision for pre-licensed mental health professionals, offering guidance grounded in trauma-informed practice, ethical decision-making, and nature-integrated therapeutic approaches.

EMDR Consultation

Tony also offers EMDR Consultation for therapists, physicians, and other health professionals seeking EMDRIA-approved support toward EMDR Certification, Consultant-in-Training status, or Basic Training requirements. He provides individualized, trauma-informed mentorship and is a member of the EMDR Consultation and Training faculty at Scaling Up, supporting clinicians as they deepen their skills and confidence in EMDR practice.

Continuing Education & Accreditation

All trainings provide CE credit through:

  • Vermont Office of Professional Regulation (OPR)

  • EMDR International Association (EMDRIA)

CE approval varies by course and is noted in each course listing.

Grants, Funding & Eligibility

Vermont-based clinicians may qualify for full funding of eligible trainings through the VSAC Advancement Grant.
Programs with VSAC eligibility are clearly marked.
